Frequently Asked Questions

What time does the service start?

What is a worship service like?

Worship starts at 9 AM. After the service, stick around for fellowship or make plans to attend a Sunday School class. FBC Ripley has about 20 Sunday School classes across generations, aimed at making disciples. For more information about Sunday School, click here.
A worship service will last about 60 minutes. We sing a diverse mix of contemporary and traditional music, led by our worship team. The worship is followed by teaching from God's Word.

What about my kids?

What should I wear?

We are proud to offer a nursery for our infants and pre-potty-trained toddlers during Sunday worship, Sunday school, and Wednesday night worship. Karen Shelby also leads the Children's church during the Sunday worship service for potty-trained 3-year-olds to 3rd graders.
There is no dress code. God cares much more about a person's heart than their style. At FBC Ripley, you will see some people dressed up and some people dressed casually. We don't care what you look like; we just want to get to know you.

A Note From Our Pastor

Thank you so much for your interest in First Baptist Church, Ripley.
Our mission is to help people come to KNOW Jesus Christ in a personal way
and to GROW in their walk with Jesus Christ so that
they can SHARE Jesus and SERVE Jesus. It is all about Jesus!
We are excited about what the Lord is doing in our church and the vision He has given us for the coming year. We would love for you and your family to come and worship with us as we grow deeper together in His Word!
