At the beginning of the 2025 season, Dr. John Stanford will begin his 12th year as the Upward Sports Director at FBC Ripley.  He is passionate about promoting the discovery of Jesus through Upward &  views sports through the lens of a greater purpose - which means the impact can extend far beyond the game.  Sports break down barriers and create an avenue for our church to build relationships and serve others.
For over twenty-five years FBC Ripley has offered the Upward Basketball & Cheer Ministry & our purpose at FBC has remained the same: to use the power of sports to share the gospel and promote the discovery of Jesus for children and adults in our community.
